Dallas Nibert, DDS
Dr. Dallas Nibert is proud to provide oral health care to the people of his hometown. He provides comprehensive and compassionate dental care for the entire family. Dr. Nibert wants to provide you with top quality oral health care, and a smile that you can be proud of!
Dr. Nibert participated in football and wrestling at Cabell Midland High School, graduating in 1998. He attended Marshall University where he would earn a Bachelor's of Science in Biological Sciences, and a minor in Chemistry. After graduation, he gained acceptance into the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He would serve as the Class President, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007.
After graduation, Dr. Dallas Nibert joined the practice of Dr. Greg Crews, and they would practice together for over eighteen years. In 2026, he began practicing with Dr. Nika Hettlinger at their brand new location in Barboursville, WV.
Dr. Nibert believes in giving back to patients and his profession. He is very proud to be the Team Dentist for Marshall University - Department of Athletics. Dr. Nibert has also provided dental services to the patients of the Ebenezer Medical Outreach. He has enjoyed participating in "Give Kids a Smile"; “Mission of Mercy;”and providing dental care to the people of Guatemala. Dr. Nibert served previously as President of the West Virginia Dental Association; the Huntington Dental Society;and the WVU School of Dentistry Alumni Association. He is honored to be a Fellow in both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Nibert and Dr. Hettlinger love supporting youth programs in their community. They sponsor several academic and athletic programs, at numerous schools in the area. They also contribute to multiple youth sports leagues across the region.
Dallas is extremely blessed to be married to his wife Sarah, and to have two wonderful children - Will and Isabelle. His main hobby is coaching his children in youth sports. This is a passion for him. Dallas also loves to exercise and to attend Cabell Midland and Marshall University sporting events.
Nika Hettlinger, DDS
Dr. Hettlinger is originally from Huntington, WV and happy to be back serving the community where she grew up. She is a 2000 graduate from Cabell Midland High School. She attended West Virginia Wesleyan College for her freshman year and continued at West Liberty State College, receiving her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She was thrilled to attended the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, after three years of undergraduate work and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007, where she was class Vice President. Dr. Hettlinger practiced in Huntington for her whole dental career and grateful to serve the community.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Hettlinger is past president of the West Virginia Dental Association and has served as the chair of the New Dentist Committee. She loves being involved locally with the Huntington Dental Society, where she served as the President for several years. She has also received an associate fellowship within the World Clinical Laser Institute and is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. Charitable dentistry holds a special place in her heart, as she has enjoyed leading and running Huntington’s Give Kids A Smile event. Being active in the fundraising efforts and leadership of the Ebenezer Dental Clinic, alongside of Dr. Nibert, has allowed many patients to receive dental care free of cost.
She is beyond blessed to be married to Marc Hettlinger, an Internal Medicine physician at Hettlinger Health.They have two amazing children, Hampton and Campbell. They are surrounded by a fabulously large extended family living in the Huntington area. She enjoys exercise, eating out and traveling. In the fall their family spends the majority of their time watching football and traveling to Morgantown to cheer on the Mountaineers.
